Syed Shahnawaz Hussain Moved Supreme Court Against Delhi High Court’s Order

On 17^th August, Delhi High Court issued order to Delhi Police to register FIR against BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain, maintaining the order of Trial Court.

Justice Asha Menon while dismissing the petition remarked that, “There is no merit in the present petition. The petition is dismissed. The interim orders stand vacated. The FIR be registered forthwith. The investigations be completed and a detailed report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. be submitted before the learned MM within three months”.

It is learnt that petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) against the judgment of the learned Special Judge (PC Act), CBI-01(South), Saket Courts, New Delhi dated 12th July, 2018 dismissing the revision petition preferred by the present petitioner against the orders of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate-05 (South), Saket Courts, New Delhi dated 7th July, 2018 passed in a complaint case filed by the Complainant.
